At New Moon, we remove the stress entirely. Our job is to slow things down and help you hold onto this season before it quietly passes.
You don’t need to prepare or worry — we guide everything.
New Moon newborn sessions are intentionally paced and completely baby-led. Sessions last around two hours, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and breaks — because newborns run the show.
Our experienced photographers gently follow your baby’s cues while prioritizing safety, comfort, and connection from start to finish. Relaxed and pressure-free.

Newborn sessions are best photographed within the first 7–14 days, but beautiful images can still be created up to two months old. We recommend booking during pregnancy to hold your spot, and we’ll finalize your session date once baby arrives.

Most newborns are photographed swaddled or undressed. If you have a special outfit or sentimental item you’d like included, feel free to bring it.

The session fee covers the time, experience, and styling. Images and products are purchased separately after you view your proof gallery.

You’ll receive a proof gallery after your session and can select your favorite images and products. We offer guidance to make the process easy and enjoyable.

Yes — we provide all newborn props, wraps, blankets, hats, headbands, and accessories. You don’t need to bring anything unless you have a sentimental item you’d like included.
A few things to note:
Session (ideally) takes place between 7-14 days after baby is born, but can take place up to two months after.
Discuss with our photographer to customize the style and color palette for your session, while using our fully-stocked newborn styling area.
Choose from a variety of props, swaddles, blankets & other goodies!
Trust that your newest addition is in the best hands, as our photographers are trained extensively in newborn safety.
For studio sessions, enjoy a private room and ample time for soothing, feeding, and diaper changes. No need to stress about the details...we'll ensure that you and your family are taken care of and relaxed throughout the entire process.
After your session, enjoy a virtual ordering meeting or simply order directly online to purchase your favorite photos from your proof gallery. Digitals, prints and products are not included in the session fee.
