Most families mean to capture all of it. But between sleepless nights, first-year chaos, and everything else on your plate, booking three separate sessions on your own is one more thing to manage — and it's easy to let a stage slip by.
The First Year Moon Collection plans it for you. Three milestone sessions are already mapped out across baby's first year, so you never have to remember to book, and you never miss a stage.

We've photographed thousands of babies through their first year, and we know the rhythm of it: the quiet newborn days, the sit-up-and-grin months, and the cake-covered chaos of turning one. Each session is guided by a photographer who knows exactly how to work with a baby at that stage — so you just show up and we handle the rest.
The First Year Collection Experience
The Three Sessions:
nEWBORN
In the first couple weeks, we capture baby exactly as they are right now — soft, sleepy, and brand new.
Already had your newborn session? No problem! We'll apply your newborn session fee as a credit toward the collection price.
(~6 months) Around the halfway point, personality starts to show. This session catches the giggles, the grabbing, the first signs of who they're becoming.
MILESTONE SESSION
FIRST bIRTHDAY
A joyful, messy celebration session — complete with a fresh custom cake delivered to the studio by Stuff by SJ for the smash.

Your three sessions are use-it-or-lose-it within baby's first year. We know first years don't always go as planned — if something legitimate comes up, reach out and we'll work with you on it. Parents and siblings are welcome for every session!
Book while pregnant and your $150 maternity session fee is waived.

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

As soon as possible after baby arrives — or, if you'd prefer, we can tentatively schedule before baby is born, since newborn sessions are best scheduled within the first couple weeks. Once you're in, we'll help you plan the timing for the Milestone and First Birthday sessions too.

Your immediate family is welcome to come to every session. If you'd like to include extended family members, an upgraded session may be required depending on how many people — please contact the studio to discuss and plan.

Sessions are use-it-or-lose-it within baby's first year. If something comes up, contact us — exceptions are handled case by case.

Yes — one of your three sessions can be substituted for a holiday or seasonal session instead.

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule without a fee — with one exception: your newborn session, since baby is always in charge of that timeline and we'll happily work around their schedule. We know kids and life can be unpredictable, so if a true emergency comes up outside that window, just reach out and we'll waive the fee.
