If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful (and different) spot for a session, we have just the place for you! Orchard View Lavender Farm is the perfect gem in Port Murray, NJ.

Brittany and Nina visited the Farm and were blown away by its beauty. They met with the owner, Monica, who lives at the Farm with her husband. He’s the builder and she’s the gardener! Monica and her friend, Wendy, take care of the grounds and manage the gift shop - there’s no denying how much they care about every detail on the property.

Besides the stunning lavender field, there are many other areas at the farm which provide the perfect backdrop for a photo. Brittany and Nina had fun imagining different ways to utilize the farm’s picturesque landscape. It was a photographer’s dream!

Brittany and Nina enjoyed a tour of the Farm by Monica, and enjoyed taking pictures of each other afterwards. Typically, Brittany’s daughter, Juliet, would have been the designated model, or possibly another family would have posed for pictures at this new venue for us. But, Brittany and Nina wanted to simply take in the Farm on their own and enjoy it together…before their busy summer outdoor season in July. And they were pretty happy with their decision! They relaxed, photographed, walked around, and soaked in the serenity and calmness of the Farm.

At the end of their visit, they stopped by an adorable gift area with all things lavender. Brittany and Nina bought a few things (how could they not?!) including a lavender brownie which they split on the way back to the studio. They learned that the Farm hosts weddings and other private retreats, too.
