Even though there’s still snow on the ground, let’s start talking about one of our favorite sessions of the year…Easter/Spring Minis! At this point in February (even though it’s cold out!) we’re definitely over holiday, Santa, Valentine’s Day, and winter looks. Been there, done that.

Instead, our minds drift towards warmer weather, those first signs of spring, fresh bulbs in the ground, trading snow boots for sock-less shoes and lightening-up our wardrobe. It’s also the time of year we start to think about spring cleaning, redecorating, and making our homes feel less cluttered, and, just lighter! Seeing smiles of your loved ones on your walls is something that will bring you joy each and every day. There’s really nothing that can replace it! There’s no picture or piece of art that can fill your heart with as much love as a picture of your family can. So why not make this the time to bring comfort and delight into your home?! What better way to make your home feel fresh and new than by having updated family photos on your walls. Not interested in framed photos or wall art? No problem at all! Use your digital images however you’d like! Share them on social with friends and family or possibly make an album down the road…no need to decide on what you’ll do with the photos right now. And no need to overthink it - just book your session and enjoy the memories it will create for your family.

While these sessions are curated for Easter to celebrate the special holiday and the renewal of the season, they most certainly can be “spring” photos, too (without the Easter vibe). Either way, we recommend wearing light clothes, pastels, neutrals, white, and ivory. If you’re going for the Easter look, have fun with it! Feel free to wear Easter prints and bring an Easter basket, gloves, and hat. The cuter, the better. We recommend avoiding dark colors, clothing with lots of text or busy patterns.
